What “CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >=$750<$2,500” means

Texas Penal Code § 28.03 defines criminal mischief as intentionally or knowingly damaging or destroying another person's tangible property without the owner's effective consent, tampering with property in a way that causes pecuniary loss or substantial inconvenience, or making unauthorized markings such as inscriptions, slogans, drawings, or paintings on the property. Criminal mischief is graded almost entirely by the dollar amount of the pecuniary loss, an element the State must plead and prove; pecuniary loss is measured under § 28.06, generally by fair market value or by the cost of repair or restoration. This variant, § 28.03(b)(3)(A), is the Class A misdemeanor bracket: pecuniary loss of $750 or more but less than $2,500. It sits between the Class B bracket for losses of $100 to under $750 and the state jail felony bracket that begins at $2,500.
